Cold Rain & Snow, Picasso Moon, Good Time Blues, Stagger Lee, Cassidy, Truckin'-> Smokestack Lightning Victim Or The Crime-> Foolish Heart-> Women Are Smarter-> Terrapin Station, Drums-> Jam-> All Along The Watchtower-> Standing On the Moon-> Around & Around-> Good Lovin', E: The Weight

Not the best of shows but it was his last. Play a couple of tunes for Brent or just read the reviews.
Peace, Wharf

I don't listen to much from Brent's tenure for many reasons but I do give him props for his playing and being with the band for eleven years (the longest of any keyboard player).

Looking at dates, it is kind of strange that his last show was on the 10th anniversary of Keith's death (07-23-80).

I do believe it is time to find a show for a memorial...

Brent Mydland was BY FAR the best GD keyoard/piano player ever...not even close! It is a joke to suggest that Keith is even in the same league. And Vince? I don't like bashing Vince - actually like Vince. But Brent was the ultimate.

I have come to agree with the idea that Brent was the best. Keith was good, but he was mainly just a filler to Jerry's jams... Vince was good and bad...

Brent was creative and full of soul, his playing was great.

I say that Bruce was also amazing, in the same sense (a little less soul maybe). He was just not there long enough though to put out some of the performances that Brent managed to pull off.
